With 30 replicas, the Bärnau-Tachov Historical Park is the largest medieval open-air museum in Germany.
Together with the ArchaeoCentrum, it is used, among other things, as a research location for experimental archeology. We convey to the visitors in a vivid and tangible way life from the 9th to the 14th century in this settlement area. With our events, theme days and museum educational concept, we whisk you away to another age and at the same time create a bridge to the present.
In the adjoining museum we pamper visitors with German-Czech specialties and host all kinds of celebrations. Regular music events and exhibitions round off the program.
